Rose Koi Acupuncture, LLC specializes in Pain Management and Stress-Related Disorders. In other words, we address the physical pain and discomfort you encounter in life as well as the associated mental and emotional symptoms that can accompany your pain. As a traditional private practice we offer a private treatment room equipped with an air purifier that cycles the air completely every 10 minutes. We use acupuncture, manual therapies such as cupping and tuina, and non-insertive techniques to meet your health goals. Patient education is of paramount importance in our clinic and we work to make sure you understand what is going on within your body and how we are supporting you through the healing process. Questions are encouraged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in MA with over 10 years of clinical experience as well as 10 years teaching acupuncture at the New England School of Acupuncture, now affiliated with MCPHS University. I specialize in pain management and stress-related disorders. My treatment style involves combining techniques to maximize results with a focused and minimalist approach.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Early in my life I realized that I have a strong desire to learn. Having had success treating my own migraines and digestive disorders, I decided to learn as much as I could about Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. My passion for the healing process has driven my educational career and continues through providing individualized care and support to my patients.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patient education is essential and I strive to work alongside my patients to help them achieve their health goals. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our bodies communicate with us through our symptoms and I teach my patients how to translate. <\/em> <\/p>-MG<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I want my patients to understand as much as they can about their bodies so they know what to do the next time it ‘speaks up’.<\/em>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melani has a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in Chinese Acupuncture Styles, Japanese Acupuncture Styles and Chinese Herbal Medicines from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University and is a Diplomate from National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).\u00a0 Certified in Auriculotherapy, they also have experience in Master Tung and Dr. Tan Balancing Method. Melani is also an Adjunct Faculty and Clinical Supervisor at NESA (at MCPHS University) for over 10 years.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Melani is not in the office, they are fully-immersed in fiber arts including knitting, writing patterns, spinning, and dyeing yarn. They are also actively wrangling their very energetic puppy, Apollo, who’s zest for zoomies far exceeds any treats the world has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n
