Therefore, we are not recognized as qualifying practitioners to provide care.  This stands for Medicare Advantage Plans, despite being managed by private insurance, because they are still required to follow the minimum standards of care set forth by Medicare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The supervision information from Medicare guidelines: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Benefit is not covered when solely provided by an independent acupuncturist.
